Mapping Center: Quadrant Online provides a comprehensive mapping solution for quick and efficient vehicle location applications such as determining the nearest vehicle to a specific location, viewing the history of a vehicle and polling for current vehicle information. Running locally on your PC also ensures faster mapping than pure web-based solutions that use up time by sending information over the web.
Command Center/Activity Reports: Automatically gather all asset location and vehicle usage data providing in-depth activity reports and enable the verification of a wide range of asset activity from business mileage reporting to "on-the-job times". Reports include Activity Driver Status, Landmark, Geofence, Vehicle Status, Vehicle Maintenance, Telemetry, Exception, Speeding and more.
Landmark Reports:Landmark reports provide data critical to optimizing business practices that range from more effective routing to more accurate customer billing. Determine both driver and routing efficiency by analyzing the length of time a specific trip takes. Comparisons can be made against other drivers as well as different time throughout the day. Landmark reports may also be used to gauge load times at customer sites - key for accurate billing.
Schedule Adherence: Schedule Adherence provides the ability to track how well a vehicle adheres to a planned schedule and issue alerts whenever a vehicle deviates from the plan. Users can build schedules using their in-house planning system and upload to Quadrant with ease. Notifications such as "behind schedule", or "stopped too long" can be sent to an SMS phone or email address to alert the user of any deviations.
Ensure Safety & Security of your Driver, Vehicle and the Cargo: This feature ensures safety of cargo against theft. Unauthorized opening of Cargo Door or tampering with customs bond seal is notified to the base or mobile phone instantly. This is done by installing a sensor on the door and connecting the sensor to the Telematics system in the Locator.
Zone Fence: A Zone Fence is an electronic boundary or geographical fence assigned to a vehicle. When the vehicle enters or leaves a zone-fenced area, an alarm will set off even to your mobile phone, if programmed accordingly. Automatically receive notification when your vehicles travel in and out of user-defined boundaries (alert to phone or PDA) when crossed by a vehicle. As an example, an asset dispatch manager may want to restrict certain vehicles in an asset from accessing restricted areas of a city. By defining a Geofence around the area, an alert email notification would automatically be sent to the dispatch manager, or GSM cell phone each time the boundary is crossed. It will supply the manager with details such as; when the Geofence boundary was entered, the length of time the vehicle remained within the Geofence, as well as the exit time. As an additional Telematics feature, a Geofence can be set to remotely disable a vehicle if the boundary is crossed.
Telematics: Provide a higher level of safety to your employees with vehicle Telematics, in the form of a remote panic button for summoning assistance, or even an ignition disabling function to prevent unauthorized usage or vehicle jacking threats.
Protect Your Investment: Over-the-air upgrade to the vehicle ensures that your system can grow with your company's changing requirements.
J1708 Interface: Integrate with your truck's on-board diagnostic computer and gather a wide range of critical information.
Back end Integration: Streamline business practices by integrating with your back-end systems. Automatically feed location data into systems such as payroll and dispatching for more efficient payroll processes and access to real-time logistics.
Polling: Individual vehicles can be polled for their location on-demand in situations where only present position information is desired.
Routing: Using routing software, you can optimize the best routes for your drivers, either for an A to B drop or for multi drop deliveries.
Scheduling: If you have a new job and you want to schedule the nearest vehicle, you can do so by selecting the nearest vehicle option on the portal and then schedule that vehicle to do that particular job.
Text Messaging: Text message like “new address to driver on route” could be sent via Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) and the driver can send preset message answer to base instead of typing a message while driving.
Voice Communication: Hands free voice unit could be fitted in Driver’s Cabin. It has restricted dial out numbers to restrict your drivers to dial only preset numbers e.g. dial base, dial customer, dial emergency services, etc.
Paperless manifest: To send your manifests electronically to the driver directly in the vehicle and add to this when new jobs come in. You can send the information from all the jobs to your back office systems instantly as there is no need to re-enter the information.
Proof of Delivery: Capture signature as proof of delivery on electronic PDA. By using a signature capture device, proof of delivery could be transmitted to your office system instantly, enabling you to raise an invoice to the customer immediately.
Satellite Navigation: If the Driver lost his way or is in unfamiliar place, you can help him navigate to the destination.
Vehicle Maintenance: By using the maintenance section of the application, you can assign the Service Maintenance tasks for each vehicle.
Vehicle Performance Monitoring: By placing required sensors, Engine Oil Overheat, Oil Pressure, Tire Pressure, Load Shift/uneven load distribution, etc. can be monitored.
Temperature Monitoring: Helps you monitor temperature fluctuations in the cargo, by placing a Temperature monitoring sensor in the required area of a vehicle. You can maintain record of all temperature readings during pick up and delivery runs which could be archived anytime.
Driver’s Performance Review: You can monitor the performance of the Driver in the areas of Excessive idling, Excessive Speeding, Longer Stoppage without switching off the engine, un-authorized deviations and stops, etc.
